“the based god ” album talks about the artiste, industry, art, society, drugs and spirituality . work began on this album in july 2015 , but every good thing faces challenges, thus, its long stay in the studio. it started as an “ep” , but subsequent ideas resorted in an extension and later deletions of some songs on the tape. this album seeks to entice the inner self by sparking a flame of deep thoughts and entertaining the minds of people who relate.
about the artiste
born justice kwasi ampah biney, “ kaymad “ grew up in the slums of tema community one [site two]. growing up in site two exposed to him to a harsh society full of petty crimes, drugs and negative energy. growing up taught him right from wrong, bitter from sweet. he craved a moment where perfection would drip off his feet
career
he started rapping as a kid, reciting lyrics from professional records of reggie rockstone, obrafour, okyeame kwame, nas, tupac, and the n.w.a. the introduction of sarkodie, ice prince, khuli chana and paedae as well as kendrick lamar, drake, joey badass and drake in recent times added a little more growth to his already inflating passion for artistry. he started major writing in 2011, in high school siphoning energy from the like of
killville’s kevin kingg, a.t.o. and edwin blaeza, ayo;9tro, kidd mills and padi oumar.
he released his first tape which was a cover of big sean’s beware in february 2014, followed by, “the chosen”, a rendition of the original sound by e.l. in april 2014. a day after his final certification exam, he released “chapter 6” a spoken word piece on kendrick lamar’s original sound in honor of the society he embraced in high school.
later in the year, he released the sensational “wheel chair talk” piece. between march and april 2015 he let out “sae ye”, “for the hood”, “turn up” and “shut down”. these tapes exposed him to platform and large audiences over a good period of time.
he is set to return with the release of the album in may 2016.
the album
set to be released in may 2016, the album will be available in major online music stores for purchase. anticipate!
